Sewing Essentials 1- Daytime
This series of classes is offered in 5 (2.5-hour) sessions in our modern studio. You can expect to learn all the sewing basics in a fun, casual, supportive atmosphere while working on four awesome projects over the 12 hour course. We aim to send you off feeling confident, inspired and ready to tackle new projects on your own. This class is great for beginners or for those who would like to brush up on the basics.

Project 4: The Ultimate Library Bag
You can sign up and pay in full online, or call the store (705-822-9182) to pay a 50% deposit of $95, with the remainder (plus taxes) due on the first day of class. This deposit is not refundable, but can be date-transferred (to a future class) up to 10 days before the start of the original class. This policy is strictly enforced.
Covid-19 safety policies for classes:
-We strongly prefer all participants to be vaccinated against Covid 19 and influenza but do not require proof.
-Everyone must wear a face mask over mouth and nose.
-Everyone must sanitize upon entering the space.

| Requirements: | Skill requirements: None Fabric Requirements: Fabric and notions required for each project. Supplies must be purchased from Sew Local Stitch Lounge, or, if purchased elsewhere, approved by the instructor prior to the first day of class. This is to ensure that the correct type of fabric is used for the project and you are not disappointed with the results. Supply list will be provided after registration. We have an amazing selection of fabrics at competitive prices, and offer a discount for class registrants! |
