This series of classes is offered in six 2.5 hour sessions in our modern sunny studio. Participants will learn how to precisely cut and piece their small patchwork quilt, sandwich it with batting and backing fabric, quilt it, and finally bind it!
You can sign up and pay in full online, or call the store (705-822-9182) to pay a 50% deposit of $114.50, with the remainder (plus taxes) due on the first day of class. This deposit is not refundable, but can be date-transferred (to a future class) up to 10 days before the start of the original class. This policy is strictly enforced.
Covid-19 safety policies for classes: -Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination required prior to the start of the first class. -Everyone must wear a face mask over mouth and nose. -Everyone must sanitize upon entering the space. -All equipment will be sanitized (with your help!) at the end of each class.
Teens will learn precise cutting techniques, patchwork piecing, pressing, layering, quilting, and binding a small quilt.
This class is open to teens who know basic sewing machine operations and threading. (A private lesson can be arranged prior to the class if you have no sewing experience but would like to sign up!)
