The 1940s-inspired Sudbury Saddle Bag combines eye-catching asymmetrical styling with a large practical size and shape. It evokes the simple elegance of the designs of the wartime years. The bag features a curved front pocket, an inside pocket, and has a strap that is broad and long enough to sit comfortably on the shoulder. This pattern just begs to be sewn with upcycled fabrics; perhaps an old suit jacket or left-over upholstery?
Suitable fabrics: woollens, tweeds, heavy linens, upholstery and decorator fabrics
