The brush-like mat enables smooth punching with little resistance, and allows the fibres to mesh with the base fabric. The mat bristle length provides the ideal hardness and density for felting. Ideal for use with the Unique® needle felting tools. Creating felt from wool is the oldest known fibre craft. With needle felting, special notched needles are used to densely felt wool fibres together to create sculptures, jewellery, adornments, 2D and 3D art. An ideal pastime for calming the mind and reducing stress and anxiety.
